Pedaling requirement: coordinate pedaling with chord changes to maintain acoustic warmth. Technical Drill: rehearse hands individually with a metronome at slow speeds before coordinating hands together.

Set within the harmonic domain of D Major (two sharps (F♯, C♯)), the score secures tonal focus on D. Expressive depth is enhanced through secondary pivots into B Minor and dominant reinforcement via A Major. Harmonically, the progression D → G → Am → F → Dm → G7 pauses expressively on an open half-cadence, leaving harmonic expectation unresolved. Under the fingers, D Major features a balanced keyboard profile naturally accommodating the central three fingers on the raised black key steps.

The temporal design is written in 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), establishing a steady common-time pulse providing natural rhythmic symmetry across four quarter-note subdivisions. The indicated tempo mark of ♩ = 101 BPM (*Andantino*) suggests an atmosphere that is moderately flowing with clear articulation. Interpretively, avoid pounding downbeats mechanically; keep the line buoyant through intermediate pulses.
