Spanning 3 pages and 55 measures, its source material derives from verified performance editions and modern engravings. Catalog registries document the score under identifier `mbid-a72af14b-sheetpdf` with ISWC `T-A72.AF1.4B-1`.

Metric propulsion relies on 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), giving the piece a balanced metric groundwork providing grounded stability with primary weight on beat one and secondary stress on beat three. Set to a metronome speed of ♩ = 111 BPM (*Allegretto*), the overall character feels moderately brisk, bright, and buoyant. Pianists should ensure that they channel energy through the middle beats toward subsequent downbeats to preserve continuous phrasing arcs.

Pedagogically suited for Intermediate students (intermediate study curriculum (RCM Level 5–6)), this piece develops essential touch control. Key challenges focus on managing two-part hand coordination and synchronizing pedal changes with harmonic shifts. In sections with transparent two-part polyphony and classical Alberti motion, maintain flexible forearm rotation to prevent stiffness. Pedaling requirement: lift the damper pedal cleanly on phrase boundaries to preserve classical transparency. Preparatory Exercise: practice left-hand harmonic leaps with closed eyes to develop spatial keyboard instinct.

Cast in A Minor (zero sharps and zero flats (with G♯ serving as raised harmonic seventh)), the composition organizes its melodic arcs around A. Dynamic tension arises from modulatory motion toward the relative mode of C Major, balanced by harmonic stabilization from D Minor. Harmonically, the progression Am → Dm → G → C → F → E7 cycles smoothly through harmonic steps (F, E7) back toward the tonic. At the keyboard, A Minor provides a transparent acoustic space requiring disciplined finger independence on descending minor scales.

1. Recital Staging: This selection integrates smoothly into formal piano masterclasses, recital auditions, and degree juries.

2. Key Customization: Performers can shift the default tonality of A Minor according to singer comfort: a downward transition to G Minor reduces top-range vocal demands, while modulating to B Minor enhances acoustic carrying power for solo recitals.

3. Licensing Status: Due to authorial timeline expiry, the piece is in the worldwide public domain for academic and commercial performance alike.
