Via del campo Piano Sheet Music (Free PDF)

Framed in A Minor, the score establishes A through a key signature featuring zero sharps and zero flats (with G♯ serving as raised harmonic seventh). Harmonic variety is enriched through dialogue with the relative minor/major (C Major) alongside strong cadential support from E Major. Harmonically, the progression Am → Dm → G → C → F → E7 navigates expressive chord variations (F, E7) returning home cleanly. From a tactile perspective, navigating this key delivers a classic keyboard canvas where the shift between natural minor and harmonic seventh requires careful thumb angle.

Rooted in the contemporary pop piano repertory, Via del campo stands as a representative work by Fabrizio De André. The publication presents 3 pages totaling 55 notation measures, cross-checked against standard contemporary studio engravings. Digital music repositories index this composition under ISWC `T-726.0F5.02-1`.

Designed for Intermediate level pianists (intermediate benchmark (ABRSM/RCM Grade 4–6)), this piece demands clean articulation and hand balance. The chief hurdle entails projecting the cantabile soprano melody while suppressing inner accompaniment voices. Balancing broken arpeggio figures and modern pulse chords requires distinct volume separation between parts. Furthermore, coordinate pedaling with chord changes to maintain acoustic warmth. Technical Drill: practice left-hand harmonic leaps with closed eyes to develop spatial keyboard instinct.

The temporal design is written in 6/8 (compound duple meter), establishing a rolling compound duple pulse that creates a swinging, wave-like physical sensation. The indicated tempo mark of ♩ = 96 BPM (*Andantino*) suggests an atmosphere that is moderately flowing with clear articulation. Interpretively, avoid heavy accentuation on the third and sixth eighth notes to preserve natural swing.

1. Recital Staging: This selection integrates smoothly into informal recitals, private studio practice, and collaborative accompaniment.

2. Key Customization: When adjusting the native tonality of A Minor, accompanists can shift down a step to G Minor for lower voice types or lift the melody into B Minor for tenors and sopranos. Woodwinds read comfortably using E Minor.

3. Licensing Status: Free from copyright encumbrance, this work is placed in the public domain under standard Berne Convention lifespan rules.
