God’s message today – Psalm 91:1-2
▶️ Don't miss this Song of the Day ◀️
Dearest Father,
In the middle of a busy and demanding world, I step aside for a moment to find my rest in You. Thank You that You are not a distant God, but a shelter that is always accessible to a weary soul. I come to You just as I am—carrying both my achievements and my unspoken exhaustion—seeking the quiet comfort that only Your divine presence can provide.
Lord, teach me the art of abiding in You throughout the entire day. When the pressure around me increases, help me to retreat into the quiet sanctuary of my heart where Your Spirit dwells. Let Your love wash over my dry places, and let Your truth silence the chaotic voices of competition, comparison, and worry. You are my safe harbor, and in You, my soul finds its true home.
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” — Psalm 91:1-2 (ESV)
Today, God is gently reminding us that we don’t have to run on empty. He is our fortress, an ever-present help in times of trouble. No matter how loud the world gets, you can always step into His shadow and find immediate rest for your soul.
Father, as I go back to my duties, let the fragrance of this quiet moment stay with me. May my attitude reflect the security I have in You, and may I extend that same sense of safety and grace to everyone I encounter.
In Your comforting name, I pray.
Amen.
