A Prayer of Complete Surrender
▶️ Don't miss this Song of the Day ◀️
My Loving Father,
I come before You with open hands and an honest heart.
There are so many things I cannot control.
So many questions without answers.
So many fears hidden beneath the surface.
And yet, in the quietness of this moment, I choose to surrender.
Not because I understand everything.
Not because I know what tomorrow will bring.
But because I know who You are.
Lord, I surrender my dreams to You.
The dreams I hold tightly.
The desires I have carried for years.
The hopes that sometimes bring joy and sometimes bring tears.
If they are from You, establish them.
If they are not, teach me to let them go with peace.
I surrender my disappointments.
The wounds that still ache.
The prayers that seem unanswered.
The memories that still hurt.
The expectations that were never fulfilled.
Take all of these into Your loving hands and redeem what I cannot repair.
I surrender my fears about the future.
My need to understand everything.
My desire to control what only You can control.
Forgive me for the times I trusted my own understanding more than Your wisdom.
Forgive me for trying to carry burdens You never asked me to carry.
Teach me to rest.
Teach me to trust.
Teach me to be still and know that You are God.
Father, if You say “wait,” then let me wait with faith.
If You say “go,” then give me courage to obey.
If You close doors, help me believe that Your protection is hidden within Your refusal.
And if You remain silent, help me remember that silence does not mean absence.
For You have never left me.
You have been faithful through every season of my life.
Through joy and sorrow.
Through victories and failures.
Through days of abundance and nights of loneliness.
You have remained the same.
And so tonight, I place everything at Your feet.
My future.
My family.
My dreams.
My fears.
My health.
My work.
My weaknesses.
My entire life.
I no longer want to cling to things that cannot save me.
I no longer want to seek peace in temporary things.
Above all, Lord, let my greatest desire be You.
For nothing in this world can satisfy the deepest longing of my soul except Your presence.
And when my journey on this earth is finished, may it be said that I trusted You, loved You, and walked with You.
Until that day, keep my heart close to Yours.
And let my life become a quiet song of worship, gratitude, and surrender to the One who loved me first.
In the beautiful and precious name of Jesus Christ, my Savior and my King,
Amen.
